Anthony Haines (Textiles) Ltd was formed in 1975. Breaking away from the traditional Scottish look, Anthony found a market for his classical designs for ladies and menswear fabrics with the Couture Houses, including Vivien Westwood in London and Christian Dior in Paris.

After appointing agents in America, France, Italy, Japan and South Korea, most of the Mill's output is now for export.

Recently, a stock bunch collection of Classic Donegal and Shetland tweeds has been introduced carrying a "Woven in Scotland " selvedge. This is proving popular with merchants and manufacturers who require limited stocks such as cap, hat and country clothing makers.
